American-Built Featured Yachts

In 2017, American clients represented 40% of worldwide brokerage sales in yachts. It only makes sense with the supply of quality used brokerage vessels dwindling, American shipyards will see an increase in orders. In the following paragraphs we highlight 3 American builders; Hunt Yachts, Hatteras Yachts and Burger Yachts, along with their current featured brokerage vessel on the market.

Hunt Yachts are known for capturing the elusive pairing of classic New England style with the rugged capability and high performance of the Hunt Deep-V. M/Y QUEEN BEE 2 was built as a sturdy structure then the furniture was added which makes a huge difference in how the vessel handles at sea. A built in 55” flat screen tv on an electric lift accentuates the comfortable and classic interior. Forward the salon on the port side is the gourmet galley. The galley features GE and Miele appliances. Starboard the galley a beautiful dining table with seating for up to 8 guests is found.

The master stateroom features a king-sized berth with a large settee starboard. The walk-in closets, cedar lined drawers and teak cabinetry add an aura of sophistication to the suite. Additional features in the master suite include Bose surround sound and a luxury bathroom.
