"New Caledonia is a stunning, off the beaten track destination that has only recently opened up to the yacht charter market. It is a paradise for nature lovers and people looking to escape from it all. Keen divers will surely be impressed by the abundant underwater life. Beautiful bays and white sandy beaches await those wanting to sunbathe and relax. The main island offers an interesting blend of Melanesian and French cultures. The highlight of our cruise was the Isle of Pines with its unusual, picturesque nature, and the excellent tour given by the local guide, combined with a sail on a traditional outrigger canoe called la pirogue and the walk to the natural aquarium.
A yacht offers the most convenient way to discover this destination. The numerous anchorage possibilities allow for varied diving and simply being close to nature with few, if any others around you. MASTEKA 2 is a well maintained charter yacht run by a friendly, approachable and professional crew. The captain is experienced and I would not hesitate to put any clients in his hands.” - comments Anna Franciszkiewicz, charter broker from Northrop and Johnson.

"My personal highlights of the trip included the Isles of Pines tour with Zerena, the pirogue journey (such a fabulous way to see the island’s stunning landscapes) all of Shane’s meals (they were so delicious and perfectly executed), jet skiing and fishing off the back of the boat, and taking a Champagne-fuelled dip in the jacuzzi. Pure bliss.
I felt the entire crew, as well as guides, were all fabulous. Everyone was super friendly and wonderfully attentive.
All of Shane’s meals were a delight. My personal favourite was the fish curry on the last night. Divine." Carla, travel writer, Robb Report.

"MASTEKA 2 is very comfortable, tidy, well thought out, spacious and, ultimately, practical. It has a calmness that I think flows into the way everyone and everything interacts. I believe New Caledonia's off-the-beaten-track quietness is its best asset - empty dive spots, unknown surf breaks, solitary beaches. It's a wild place and that needs to be celebrated." Daisy, BOAT International.

"I can only rave about the service we received which was exceptional. Everything was done professionally with good intention and additionally with beautiful smiles." Olivier Mercian, High-end inbound travel agent, Touring Treasures.

“Thank you for an amazing fam trip in New Cal.
You exceeded on all counts of organisation and delivery.
I enjoyed the opportunity to refresh my New Cal button, I topped up my knowledge and I feel optimistic about the opportunities to charter. New Caledonia is an absolute charter paradise. The water and islands are breathtaking, the people welcoming, the food wonderful. It's a delicious blend of French and Melanesian culture and the professional crew onboard Masteka 2 conveyed that ease and warmth of island living”.

"Thanking you all for a very insightful and enjoyable famil aboard MASTEKA 2 in New Caledonia. It was an excellent famil experience with a great group.
Captain and crew did a fabulous job of looking after us and showing us the best of what was possible in a short time frame. I was very impressed with Captain Matt! A very knowledgeable and friendly professional captain. I enjoyed his company and sense of humour and of course his excellent planning with the trip.
The yacht was impeccably presented and the food and beverage was beautifully served in abundance!
The Isle of Pines Helicopter flight was absolutely spectacular and another huge highlight."
