    Profile Florent Ruiz

I began my career in the Super Yacht industry 20 years ago. Initially I was involved in yacht building and refitting and held many positions as my responsibilities grew

After two years of living on my boat in the South of France I decided to make sailing my profession.. So I began to sail on bigger sailing boats, and delivering new yachts.

Soon after acquiring my C200gt diploma, I joined the great catamaran S/Y CILIAM for a season in Asia, where we sailed Thaïland, Malaysia and Singapore.

Back in Europe, after a year in Mexico where I have family, I started with my new goal : taking command of the amazing sailboat SAVARONA.

After a long and extensive refit, we are keen to go sailing and get guests on the water to see how the ocean is beautiful.

I allways put security on board on top of my priorities. Positive attitude, discretion and responsibility are the qualities I choose to live by.

I’ll make sure all guests will enjoy a great experience aboard S/Y SAVARONA.

Just to give you some feedback. We have had a brilliant week. Beautiful boat, lovely crew and good food provided by the lovely ( now adopted aunty!) Giselle! One of the very best holidays we have ever had!

Ian runs a great boat and strikes a good balance between calm experience and great fun for the family. We really can't fault it and are definitely up for more charters over your way and on Savarona over here again.

    Many thanks
