Overview
The 2009 Marquis 72 Tri-deck, AWAKEN, has been beautifully updated. Her interior feels new and the exterior shows very well. Beautiful exterior lines, designed by Nuvolari Lenard, envelope an impressively large-feeling layout. The aft deck leads to the salon through a large, glass aft bulkhead, and sightlines continue through the galley and forward dinette. Large windows surround the entire main deck filling it with natural light. Stairs from the aft deck, as well as the salon, lead to the enclosed flybridge. The flybridge contains not only the main helm, but also an additional entertaining area with built-in seating, a wet bar and upper aft deck with a grill. Below, guest accommodations include three staterooms and three heads, as well as roomy crew quarters with 2 bunks and a head. The owner stateroom is full-beam and has his-and-hers heads and a walk-in closet. The hydraulic swim/dinghy platform is easily accessed from both sides of the aft deck. Caterpillar C30s, at 1,550 hp each, can propel this vessel past her honest 25 knot cruise speed.
