    INEVITABLE is a vintage Burger motor yacht that enjoyed an interior re-fit project undertaken by Patrick Knowles (Patrick Knowles Designs of Fort Lauderdale) in 2005. The main salon and dining salon were essentially gutted and high gloss raised teak paneling was added. The overhead was changed to tongue and groove white planks with teak batten boards. The aft deck includes similar overhead treatments and features a custom U-shaped bar with high glass teak paneling, including "absolute black" granite countertops. The overhead soffit accommodates crystal stemware.

    The master stateroom and guest cabins had all new millwork and stonework as part of the re-fit. The galley surface materials and counter tops were refinished.

    The result of Patrick's "labor of love" is a most stunning and traditional yacht ambiance.


    The current owner has spared no expense to ensure INEVITABLE'S impeccable condition. In 2015, a most significant re-fit included new Caterpillar C-32 engines and ZF transmissions. At the same time, the bottom was sandblasted to bare aluminum and the stern tubes were replaced, while a new barrier coat and anti-fouling system were applied. The year prior, the owner installed Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers. Other improvements include new navigation and audiovisual electronics, new generators, new Atlas converter, a completely new interior, a swim platform extension, new galley appliances and much more.

    INEVITABLE features walk-around teak decks that lead to a large foredeck with guest seating and ample space to operate a heavy-duty windlass. Her large cockpit has teak decks and cap rails and is an excellent space for owner and guests to fish, dive, swim, or simply relax. It also serves as a practical area to store water sports gear.

    INEVITABLE’S flybridge has a barbecue, a sunpad, guest seating, an outside steering station, and a 17-foot tender, which can be launched on either side via two davits.

    There are accommodations for eight guests in three luxury staterooms, including an aft full-beam master with a king-size bed and his-and-hers en-suite bathroom. Amidships are two twin berth guest rooms, each with an additional Pullman and en-suite bathrooms.

    Her layout and features will provide great family cruising anywhere in the world as she is equipped with zero speed stabilizers, large anchors, ATLAS shore power converter, hydraulic passarelle, Alfa Laval fuel polisher, and much more. INEVITABLE is a unique yacht that will make the most discerning owner happy.

    The cockpit was added in 1997 at Derecktors Shipyard in Fort Lauderdale.
