A "must-see" Nordlund Yacht for Sale

PATIENCE is a 1995 96’ Nordlund Motor Yacht which has received three major refits and has been kept in excellent condition throughout her history. In 2002 she received a major refit at Rybovich Spencer, including reconfiguring the layout and changing the interior wood. A major mechanical refit was performed in 2005 which involved replacing the engines with 1,550 hp Caterpillar C-30s and generators with 33 kW Northern Lights as well as many other upgrades.  In 2018, the current owners began upgrading even more, including a complete galley refit, a new hardtop, new headliners, new counters, LED lighting throughout, new soft goods, and modern electronics. Casual elegant décor is present throughout the vessel’s broad spaces, which are excellent for entertaining and comfortable for extended stays aboard. A full-beam owner’s stateroom with separate his-and-her heads is part of the 4-stateroom layout, and a day head is found on the main deck. In addition, the crew quarters have a full head. A Garmin electronics suite and Yacht Controller make short-handed operation easy, and the mechanical equipment is in excellent condition. PATIENCE is one of the most impressive vessels in her class.

Starboard-side stairs from the swim platform allow access to the enormous aft deck, a great place for entertaining guests. The large sliding glass doors, when open, give the feeling that the aft deck is part of the salon. The aft deck has bench seating and chairs surrounding a wooden table, providing the perfect area for alfresco dining, or having cocktails. To forward and port is a grill and bar, and to starboard is a staircase that leads to the flybridge.

Transitioning forward from the aft deck and through the sliding doors is the main salon. Solid-stock teak and maple flooring are used throughout the entire main deck, all the way through the galley. The mahogany cabinetry, millwork, and teak flooring provide a warm ambiance and contrast the airy whites and blues of the upholstered furniture. The man salon has a 60-inch TV in the port aft corner, and a 6-place dining table is forward of the salon, surrounded by beautiful cabinetry for china and glassware storage. Because of the low cabinetry, the entirety of the main salon has an open feel through the dining area. A day head is located between the dining room and port side-deck door.

PATIENCE’s beautiful interior design continues in her sleek galley. Corian counters are surrounded by gorgeous white enamel cabinets, which contrast well with the dark blue tile behind the stove. Warmth is added to this bright room by the teak and maple floors, and the teak counter on the large island. All the appliances have been upgraded and a pop-up TV is hidden in the aft port counter. These tasteful interior details make this Nordlund yacht one of the most unique for sale.

Accommodations for 8 guests are below in 4 comfortable staterooms. The full-beam owner’s suite is accessed from a staircase in the salon through a lower foyer containing a washer and dryer set. Its king-sized berth is flanked by a head with a large bathtub and a walk-in closet. Forward is a large TV and 2 more hanging closets. Another head with a shower is just outboard. This very large owner’s stateroom is beautifully appointed with mahogany cabinetry and crisp, white, and blue soft goods. The companionway forward of the galley leads to 3 guest staterooms, each with a full head. A second washer and dryer set for the forward section of the yacht is in the hallway between the staterooms. The VIP Stateroom is at the aft end of this hallway and has a walk-around queen-sized berth, an ensuite head with a shower, and a hanging locker.

Stairs from the Dining Room lead to the raised Pilot House. Sightlines are very good thanks to the slim mullions, and the dash layout is simple and modern with all the navigation equipment within easy reach. Up a few more stairs lies the enormous Flybridge. Under the cover of the hard top is an additional full-function helm forward of built-in cabinetry containing another grill, refrigerator, and ice maker on the starboard side. Comfortable guest seating is to port. Aft is a Jacuzzi, tanning bed, and tender storage.

Overall, PATIENCE is a must-see yacht. She has been meticulously maintained by her 2 owners throughout her history and has never been chartered.
