Meet the Yacht Designer: Adam Voorhees
Adam Voorhees is the award winning creative director for his namesake Studio focused on developing complete yacht experiences that inspire the interaction between users, objects, and environments.
The Studio’s design sensibilities reflect a multi-faceted dialogue and accomplishment in a wide range of scale and type; From the development and in-house manufacturing of custom furniture pieces to designing large motor and sailing yacht projects in Europe and America.
Innovative Yachting Concepts
Honored to be the 2010 World Superyacht Young Designer of the Year, Adam began his career at Espen Oeino International. Upon returning to the States, he launched his Studio that continues to pursue a fascination with the convergence between the built and natural environment.
Adam is also an instructor at ArtCenter College of Design, committed to guiding the next generation of designers in research and exploration of innovative concepts and in-depth creative strategies.
Adam enjoys a close working relationship with Worth Avenue Yachts, most notably for the 2018 World Superyacht Award winning M/Y Broadwater.
