Home Superyacht news Monaco Yacht Show Highlights: 120 Yachts, 10 Countries, One Global Stage
The 34th Monaco Yacht Show closed its doors this weekend after four days of world premieres, immersive experiences, and high-level discussions that drew nearly 30,000 visitors to Port Hercule.
Worth Avenue Yachts enjoyed a successful showcase, hosting more than 60 private appointments on board the 43-metre TOLEMAI and a series of exclusive at-anchor viewings aboard the award-winning explorer yacht LATITUDE. The strong client turnout reaffirmed our position at the forefront of the global yachting market, connecting discerning buyers and charterers with the industry’s most exceptional opportunities.
This year’s Dockside Area was nothing short of impressive, presenting 120 superyachts with a combined estimated value of €4.3 billion. The line-up included 50 brand-new yachts debuting for 2025 and 70 brokerage yachts, offering a balance between innovation and pedigree.
Of the fleet, 62 superyachts were officially listed for sale, giving Worth Avenue Yachts the perfect platform to showcase our expertise in guiding clients through acquisition and new-build opportunities. With yachts representing 10 different countries, the fleet highlighted the global nature of large-yacht construction and the value of having a trusted partner like Worth Avenue Yachts to navigate this diverse market.
One of the standout additions this year was Blue Wake, a program dedicated to eco-responsible solutions. From hydrogen propulsion and recyclable aluminum catamarans to low-carbon fuel, exhibitors highlighted how sustainability is redefining the industry.
At Worth Avenue Yachts, we recognize that today’s owners and charterers are seeking not just luxury but also responsible innovation. By staying at the forefront of these advancements, we ensure our clients benefit from future-proof investments that align with both their lifestyle and environmental values.
A defining moment in this new era was the sale of the 119m Feadship BREAKTHROUGH, the world’s first hydrogen-powered superyacht. Launched in Amsterdam in 2024, BREAKTHROUGH represents a milestone in sustainable yachting with her 92m hydrogen storage facility and innovative systems that minimize emissions. Beyond her pioneering propulsion, she features 14 exterior balconies, seven-fold-out platforms, a foredeck tennis court, an 8.2m pool, and accommodation for 30 guests. Breakthrough stands as proof that sustainability and luxury can exist in perfect harmony, setting the tone for the future of the superyacht industry.
Adding to the show momentum of the show, Heesen announced the sale of the 55-metre Steel Class motor yacht AGNETHA. Designed for both private ownership and charter, AGNETHA combines sturdy Dutch craftsmanship with refined interiors from leading lifestyle partners. She accommodates 12 guests across six staterooms, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck, and delivers ocean-crossing capability with her efficient Fast Displacement Hull and twin MTU engines.
On her maiden voyage from Holland to Monaco, AGNETHA was tested across a range of sea states, performing with exceptional stability and comfort. Her successful debut reflects both engineering excellence and the appetite for owner-ready yachts at this year’s show. For buyers who missed out, her sistership FRIDA is under construction and scheduled for delivery in December 2025.
The Monaco Yacht Show also underscored that yacht ownership is about more than just the vessel. The Yacht Design & Innovation Hub presented futuristic concepts from 16 designers, while the Adventure Area highlighted 57 tenders, 23 luxury cars, and a curated selection of water toys.
In the Upper Deck Lounge, interior design and craftsmanship took center stage, showcasing the lifestyle ecosystem that accompanies ownership. Worth Avenue Yachts takes pride in offering clients access to this broader world of luxury, ensuring every element of the ownership journey is as seamless and memorable as life onboard.
Exhibitors praised the quality of visitors, with many private clients entering discussions on acquisitions and new-build projects. Worth Avenue Yachts used this stage to strengthen relationships, present exceptional opportunities, and highlight our expertise across every phase of ownership.
