This included a full engine rebuild on the starboard engine to 0 hours, a full top-end rebuild on the port engine, a new exhaust system, rebuilt transmissions, and a total re-paint. SEA BOLD was built in Kevlar and carbon fiber epoxy advanced composite construction. This creates a lightweight super strong boat that can operate at high speeds in demanding seas. With a high-speed cruise of 22 knots and a top-end speed of 25 knots, she was designed with the famous Ray Hunt Deep V hull to be able to make high-speed runs to the Bahamas whenever demanded.
