The epitome of luxury motor yachting, Broadwater invites you to enjoy elegant comfort,
clean cruising lines, and second-to-none leisure activities. Entirely recreated in 2020 by Dutch masters Royal Huisman, her Feadship pedigree shines on. Enveloped in smart navy and white
livery, she offers a private ocean playground for laughter and serenity.
Broadwater is the ultimate ocean vacation. Languish in her Beach Club and watch the waves
sparkle, jump out and delight in the latest watercraft, take in spectacular sunsets from the
upper deck, or discover pristine underwater landscapes in hidden coves. Whatever your persuasion, feel at home on the ocean with Broadwater.
AN EXCEPTIONAL PEDIGREE
The debut of Broadwater is preceded by her venerable history. Built in 1994 by De Voogt Naval Architects at Feadship in the Netherlands, she was originally named Rasselas, after which she underwent several different incarnations and name changes, including Halcyon Days, and Time for Us. Her current owner established a new vision for De Vries 650, and began an extensive renovation that befits her pedigree.
AN AMBITIOUS TRANSFORMATION
Broadwater’s refit was completed in 2020 at the Royal Huisman shipyard. Now 182 feet long, her revitalized design includes exterior improvements and technical upgrades, and an entirely rebuilt interior. Together, they express her owner’s appreciation for quality and design-led craftsmanship, and the ambition to create a vessel of understated luxury.
Realized by award-winning Creative Director Adam Voorhees, the design philosophy for Broadwater respects her provenance and contributes to her original architecture. Voorhees balances his affinity for natural materials and elegant lines with the enormous challenges of yacht design. Every detail is carefully selected: from genuine finishes of oak, walnut, and eucalyptus to textures of patinated bronze, Serpeggiante and Portoro stone—and the luscious tactility of cashmere, silks, linen, and leather. Together they transport guests to an authentic, elegant setting that is designed for comfort.
A TRIUMPHANT REBIRTH
Broadwater is the vessel’s third refit, and introduces a four-meter extension and a restyled, elegant stern. These significant interventions allow for new state-of-the-art amenities that include a Beach Club, as well as a sundeck with new mast and canopy architecture, a well-appointed new Jacuzzi, and stylish lounges. Her classic livery pairs a Flag Blue hull with Snow White superstructure, reflecting Broadwater’s chic, modern approach.
Broadwater is designed and constructed for luxurious blue water cruising. Her spacious and comfortable capacity accommodates up to twelve guests in six guest staterooms, and a total of twelve crew members.
