Mark Osterhaven
Yacht Consultant
Mark grew up in a boating family in Holland, Michigan, where he developed an early connection to the water and the yacht industry. Surrounded by respected boat builders like Broward Marine, Burger Yachts, and Tiara, he spent his high school and college summers working in various roles for luxury yacht companies. After completing his formal education, Mark earned his captain’s license and began a 12-year career running yachts of all sizes, from charter sportfish boats in the Florida Keys to large crewed motor yachts.
In 2006, Mark transitioned into yacht brokerage and quickly built a strong reputation for providing thoughtful guidance and practical expertise to his clients. Drawing from years of hands-on experience as a captain, he offers buyers and sellers a real-world understanding of yacht operations, ownership, and life on the water.
Mark joined Worth Avenue Yachts in 2013, where he focuses on superyacht sales and charter. He values the company’s collaborative culture and enjoys working alongside a global team that shares a passion for exceptional client service.
When he is away from the office, Mark spends much of his time in Staniel Cay, Bahamas, where he serves as Commodore of the Yacht Club. He is also passionate about Canine Assisted Therapy and looks forward to training his golden retriever, Izzy. You can often find him each year at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
