Newport’s rich legacy of sporting firsts—from the inaugural U.S. Open golf championship to America’s earliest car circuit race—makes it a natural stage for a world-class celebration of automotive excellence. Dating back to the Gilded Age, when Willie K. Vanderbilt introduced the first Vanderbilt Cup trophy in 1900, the city’s deep ties to motoring culture set the tone for innovation and passion that continues today. Against the breathtaking backdrop of historic mansions, iconic landmarks, and the endless Atlantic, the Audrain Newport Concours & Motor Week, established in 2019, has quickly become a premier international event, bringing together collectors, enthusiasts, and automotive icons from around the globe for an unforgettable multi-day showcase of heritage, elegance, and performance.
