Before trading paint charts for nautical charts, Mike spent 30 years running his own business in the decorative coatings industry—an experience that sharpened his eye for detail, honed his leadership, and strengthened his commitment to exceptional customer service. These days, he brings that same polish and professionalism to every charter, ensuring your experience is as smooth as the seas he navigates. Mike holds a RYA Yachtmaster Offshore license, multiple endorsements, and extensive cruising and regatta experience. But beyond the certifications, it’s his calm confidence, great sense of humor, and genuine care for people that guests remember most. Whether he’s guiding you to a secret snorkel spot or sharing stories under the stars, Mike makes every moment aboard feel like part of your own unforgettable story. With over 20 years of hospitality experience and a deep love for sailing, Debbie has crafted a life centered around connection, creativity, and cuisine. She’s owned and run cafés, managed catering businesses, and even baked for a castle (yes, really!). Her food is always fresh, heartfelt, and full of flavor—think South African soul food with international flair, made from scratch with love. Whether she’s whipping up sunrise pastries, preparing beachside BBQs, or setting a table you’ll never forget, Debbie’s attention to detail and guest-first mindset shine through. She’s also your friendly go-to for anything from provisioning tips to the perfect cup of tea after a day of snorkeling. Sailing side-by-side with her husband, Captain Mike, Debbie is the other half of a warm, dynamic duo that turns charters into unforgettable adventures.
