    Davis Sommerfield

    First mate

    Davis is a skilled First Mate with over seven years of yachting experience, primarily in the charter sector. Currently serving aboard M/Y Mamma Mia, he holds a USCG 200T/500 ITC license along with certifications in STCW, Advanced Firefighting, and PADI Open Water. Davis is recognized for his confident leadership, proficient tender operation, and extensive expertise in water sports instruction, vessel maintenance, and deck operations. His prior four years as a firefighter have instilled discipline and composure, enabling him to lead effectively in high-pressure situations. Throughout his career, Davis has worked on yachts ranging from 30m to 70m, gaining comprehensive experience in managing deck activities, training junior crew members, and overseeing safety and maintenance protocols. He demonstrates a dedicated and fair approach to leadership and draws upon his lifelong connection to the ocean to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards onboard.

    Victor De Leon

    Engineer

    Originally from Panama, Victor began his journey into engineering at a young age, attending a military academy in Peru where he completed a diesel mechanics course and had his first introduction to the yachting industry. This early exposure sparked a passion for marine engineering that he has continued to pursue for over twelve years. With extensive experience in both the maritime and yachting sectors, Victor has been proudly serving as Chief Engineer aboard Mamma Mia for more than a year and a half. Victor is dedicated to keeping the vessel operating at peak performance, ensuring all onboard systems and engines are meticulously maintained. Outside of the engine room, Victor is also a talented guitarist who enjoys sharing his musical talents and occasionally serenades guests, adding a personal and memorable touch to their time on board.

    Davide Brocchini

    Deckhand

    Originally from Italy, Davide is fluent in both Italian and English and brings over seven years of yachting experience to the crew of Mamma Mia. As Deckhand, Davide plays a key role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable guest experience. His responsibilities include assisting with watersports and activities, tender operations, fishing excursions, and all off-boat adventures. He also takes great pride in keeping Mamma Mia’s exterior in immaculate condition. Working alongside Davis and the rest of the team, Davide is dedicated to delivering fun, safety, and exceptional service throughout your time on board.

    Kirsten Dove

    Chef

    Kirsten is the dedicated Chef aboard Mamma Mia, bringing a strong background in fine dining and a passion for creating exceptional meals at sea. Trained in culinary arts with experience in high-end kitchens, she has developed a refined skill set in preparing elegant, flavorful dishes tailored to a variety of tastes and dietary needs. From themed dinners and formal multi-course meals to relaxed beach BBQs, Kirsten delivers memorable dining experiences that reflect creativity, precision, and attention to detail. Her yachting career includes roles on vessels ranging from 70 to 155 feet, where she has consistently showcased her ability to thrive in both solo and collaborative galley environments. Known for her professionalism, adaptability, and guest-focused approach, Kirsten also holds a comprehensive set of marine hospitality certifications and operates with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and culinary excellence.

    Fatima brings over seven years of experience in luxury hospitality and charter service to her role as Chief Stewardess. Energetic, adaptable, and detail-oriented, she thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys planning memorable events for guests.
