Ferhat was born in Bartın, on the Western Black Sea, and can’t remember a time when he wasn’t drawn to the water. On leaving school, he started a career on cargo ships in 1987, before moving into yachting a few years later. Over decades at sea, he built a reputation for calm leadership and deep technical knowledge. Consistently asked to return by owners, he has an outstanding reputation onboard. He joined TAKE IT EASIER in 2008 and has now been Captain for an exceptional 17 years, offering guests continuity, safety, and a familiar guiding hand.He enjoys fishing, reading, travelling, sports, and playing cards. A family man, he is married with two children and works hard to balance this with travel and working at sea. Ferhat’s approachable manner and extensive experience ensure guests feel fully at ease throughout their time on board. Caner grew up in Mersin and has spent the last 25 years at sea, beginning on commercial vessels before moving into yachting. Trained in motor technologies with a strong experience in maintenance, repairs, and engineering operations, he brings a dependable and knowledgeable presence to the engine room. He joined TAKE IT EASIER in 2015 and has been part of the yacht’s technical heart ever since.When not tinkering with and fine-tuning the ship's systems, you can find him expanding his world through travel, reading, and his love of photography. A naturally curious and thoughtful person, he would be delighted to show you round the engine room. His steady approach helps keep the vessel running smoothly for both guests and crew. Born in Ankara, Engin trained in both hotel and international restaurant kitchens before moving into yachting. Having trained in both Kuala Lumpur and the Maldives, his cuisine has an international influence, and he is comfortable creating dishes that span Turkish, Mediterranean, Italian, and Malaysian cuisine. He loves creating a bespoke menu that tailors to you and your guests' needs. Engin has developed his skills over 25 years and brings a wealth of experience on board, where he has been a key part of the team on TAKE IT EASIER since 2014.Friendly and curious by nature, he enjoys making guests feel at home and welcomed by his dishes. In his spare time, he travels and discovers new ingredients and flavors. Uğur was born in Sungurlu and has spent nearly two decades working across a wide range of sailing yachts and charter vessels. He has worked his way up from deckhand to taking Captaincy on previous vessels. This has given him a deep understanding of seamanship, safety, and onboard operations. With a reputation for being calm under pressure, guests will find him friendly, dependable, and confident on deck.Since joining TAKE IT EASIER in 2017, Uğur has continued to bring a strong work ethic and supportive presence to the rest of the crew. In any spare time, he can be found fishing, diving, reading or playing football. Born in Bodrum, Gürbüz grew up close to the sea and naturally gravitated into yachting. Since 2011, he has worked across both private and charter yachts, gaining solid experience in deck operations, tender assistance, and watersports support. He holds his Yachtmaster 500Gt and brings his energy and technical ability to all he is involved in.Gürbüz joined TAKE IT EASIER in 2018 and has become a valued long-term crew member. Away from work, he enjoys fishing, traveling, reading, and water sports, holding an advanced open water diver. Guests will find him open, friendly, and always with a smile. Fatih was born and raised in the historic city of Konya, in central Turkey, but was always drawn to the sea and the promise of adventure. On leaving school, he gained certificates in watercraft and seamanship and began his training aboard smaller vessels. He gained early experience on M/S Anatolia before joining the team on TAKE IT EASIER, where he is looking forward to further developing his skills through learning from this great crew. Fatih is very motivated and eager to learn and work hard. He brings his brings fresh energy and enthusiasm to the deck team. He enjoys fishing, traveling, football, and keeping fit.
