Power comes from a pair of Volvo Penta D6 5.5-liter, six-cylinder turbo-diesel engines, each rated at 380 HP. Volvo Penta outdrives deliver the power, giving the SR41 responsive handling, excellent maneuverability, and a reported top speed of about 35 knots.

Around the dock, the combination of Volvo Penta joystick control and a bow thruster makes maneuvering this 41-foot yacht surprisingly straightforward. Bennett trim tabs provide additional control underway.

The digital engine displays currently show approximately 242 hours on each engine.

In December 2025, the engine and outdrive oil was changed, and the cooling-system impellers and anodes were replaced.
