Unveiled in June 2025, Water Revolution Foundation’s Roadmap 2050: Towards Regenerative Yachting is the first industry-wide plan to reach net-zero emissions by the year 2050. Built around a yacht’s full lifecycle—design, build, operation, and refit—the roadmap provides five-year incremental benchmarks to help stakeholders measure, reduce, and ultimately neutralize their environmental footprint.
The plan promotes voluntary collaboration among shipyards, designers, brokers, and owners, guided by real data and best practices.
