An accessible way into the style, and a lot of pedigree for the money. VICTORY is a Wilbur, built in Southwest Harbor, Maine by one of the names most closely tied to the Down East picnic boat. At 30 feet she is an ideal harbor and coastal boat… simple to own, quick to get underway and classic in every line. A sound first Down East for a buyer who values provenance over size.
The connoisseur’s dayboat. ELOISE is a Shelter Island Nomad, drawn by Doug Zurn and built by Coecles Harbor Marine on Shelter Island, New York… the final hull of only six ever produced. A single Yanmar diesel with an outdrive gives her a dry, confident ride and better than 30 knots, while the teak cockpit, cabin with V-berth and enclosed head make her a proper overnighter. Rare when it comes up, and it rarely does.
