Welcome aboard SIERRA FOX, an incredible Offshore 54. Commissioned as one of two identical builds for the same owner in 2009, SIERRA FOX is unlike any other Offshore 54 Pilothouse you have seen. Built with the owner’s captain heavily involved throughout the build process to the ultimate specification, the thoughtfulness of the customization is unparalleled.
Having been customized from the original Offshore 54 mold, you’ll notice the transom and swim platform allow access to both side decks and the very generous swim platform. Perfect for when docking and well-suited for spending more time on the water. All exterior stainless-steel fixtures and hardware including cleats, hawses, railings, and more were built to be double the size of the normal Offshore 54 models. The strong features ensure your extended cruising to remote locations is successful.
On the flybridge, you’ll be impressed with the stainless-steel radar and electronics mounting found in a very compact area. The flybridge also features a recently added high quality polycarbonate full enclosure by Barrett Enclosure in Seattle. Excellent sightlines and visibility at the flybridge allow the secondary helm station to be an excellent area to operate SIERRA FOX. The flybridge helm station features all equipment and systems that are also found at the primary helm station. Additional seating allows you to stay connected with your guests while underway.
The systems, electronics, and features onboard were meant to be redundant. Equipped to be self-sufficient and reliable the spare parts inventory displays the fine attention to detail that is evident throughout SIERRA FOX. A bonus of SIERRA FOX is the checklists, manuals, and prepared materials that highlight how each system works and how the vessel should be ran to optimize efficiency. From both a factory and owner’s perspective, you’ll have everything needed to start cruising.
The helm station features Nauticomp displays showing on two different Furuno screens. A ships computer and backup laptop computer are also found at the helm station powering Nobletech time zero. Controls for the hydraulic bow and stern thrusters are located at the helm. Hydraulic thrusters are another upgrade as most Offshore 54 models come standard with electric thrusters. Flir night vision and low light cameras are inputted at the helm and allow you to see in the 11 areas the cameras are located. Tank monitors, bilge counters, and inverter chargers are located overhead the helm and allow you to easily see all electronic aspects of SIERRA FOX. Multiple top-of-the-line headsets for communication are found onboard and ensure you and your guests know exactly what is happening while underway and in the marina. Integrated with SIERRA FOX, this feature is something you would find on a yacht much larger in size.
While many Offshore 54 models were built with an aft entrance to the owner’s stateroom, SIERRA FOX was customized with a singular entrance to both staterooms and is located to starboard from the helm station. This allows for better use of the salon and maximized the volume for additional refrigeration and storage onboard. The spacious VIP stateroom features a walkaround queen-sized berth with ample storage throughout. Moving aft is the comfortable owner’s stateroom boasting excellent head room. An impressive feature not typically found on yachts of this size. Plenty of storage and natural light from opening portlights is found in each of the ensuite heads.
A tasteful upgrade to the soft goods including carpets, bedding, furniture coverings, and more allows SIERRA FOX to feel welcoming and contemporary.
