    Dean Holland

    Captain

    Dean was born and brought up in New- Zealand’s North Island to a farming family. A typical Kiwi, he grew up with an enthusiasm for all things outdoors and sporting. Dean spent his youth windsurfing and sailing the rugged West Coast during the summers. Winters were spent on the mountain side skiing and snowboarding. As part of his travel experience, Dean joined the yachting industry in 1998 and started driving boats as Captain in 2000. He has been in command of several different yachts and has a long successful history as a charter Captain. He has a vast amount a cruising experience and thoroughly enjoys working with the crew to ensure all who come aboard have a great time.

    Daniel La Rosa

    Chief Engineer

    Daniel grew up in a village called “Runci” which is very close to the sea in Southern Italy. His childhood dream was to travel the world and that’s why after nautical school he joined a cargo ship, cruise ships, and now yachts. When Dani is at home, he enjoys driving his motorbike and sports car and taking them for long trips around Europe as well as doing the maintenance on them. When he isn’t next to an engine, Dani likes spending time with his family.

    Henry Turner

    First Officer

    Henry grew up next to the sea in a small town in Yorkshire, in the north of England. From a young age Henry loved being in the sea enjoying water sports, most of all sailing and competed competitively in sailing regattas and competitions around the country. In 2013 after finishing college at 18 years old Henry decided to obtain his Yachtmaster qualification, hoping to turn his passion for boats and the sea into a career. Since then, he has moved up the ranks to Chief Mate, whilst working on several different yachts all over the world.

    Nikolaos Drougousiannis

    Chef

    His story as a chef began in his father's tavern in a small town in northern Greece. There, he found his true passion for cooking and gained extensive culinary experience, which led him to pursue a career. Nikolaos worked his way around Europe from London to Copenhagen, earning a Superior Culinary Arts diploma from the world-renowned École Ducasse in Paris. He now works as a freelance Chef and has been working on yachts and private estates since 2019.

    MariaFranca Rinaudo

    Chief Stewardess

    Franca worked in the hospitality industry and gained her G.U.E.S.T IAMI advanced service qualification before joining the yachting industry in 2021, as Second Stewardess on a 35m yacht. Since then, Maria progressed to Chief Stewardess on 35m and 40m charter yachts. Franca speaks English, Spanish, French, and Italian fluently, and in her free time, she enjoys travelling, yoga, and cycling. Franca looks forward to welcoming you onboard and providing you with an unforgettable experience.

    Laura Harman

    Stewardess

    Laura has a real passion for travel. She has spent the last 9 years living out of her suitcase and experiencing travel and culture flying around the world as an air hostess. She loves to visit new countries from exploring the Andes in Santiago Chile to visiting the wonders of the world in India and Jordan Petra. Laura has worked in hospitality for the past 10 years and is embarking on her second season on BERCO VOYAGER where she is excited to provide guests a wonderful experience.
