    Giacomo Tovani

    Captain

    Giacomo started his career in 2007 on the prestigious 42 m sailing yacht CROCE DEL SUD, flanked by a very experienced Captain who trained him from Deckhand to Officer. He has worked since then on various private and charter yachts (from 26-59 m) honing his skills to now be the master of Soulmate. Giacomo is a charter oriented Captain and enjoys taking care of guests and managing crew alike. He is fluent in English and is Italian mother tongue. Sporty by nature he enjoys swimming, cycling and diving as well as photography.

    Mathias Fronteddu

    First Officer

    Enterprising, sociable, meticulous and dependable, Mathias had his first position as Captain when he was only 23 years old and is a skilled and reliable first officer on board Soulmate. He has a good knowledge of boat engines and auxiliary equipment and even enjoys cooking when not out on deck. Mathias speaks Italian (mother tongue), advanced English, intermediate Spanish, and intermediate French.

    Dino Spadoni

    Chief Engineer

    Dino, our Chief engineer studied in high school at the nautical academy of Viareggio and has more than twelve years of experience on cruise ships with Carnival Cruise Lines starting as an engine cadet until reaching the rank of first senior engineer. With the desire to gain new experiences, he moved on to tugboats as Chief engineer for two years. His yachting experience will begin in 2023. He has many passions and hobbies, among which are cars and going for long rides on his racing bicycles.

    Irina Ivaneanu

    Chief Stewardess

    Irina graduated from the school of art & design in Brasov and began her yachting career in 2015 as stewardess on the 24m Maestro where she enjoyed 3 years on board refining her service, presentation and management skills. She moved on to larger charter yachts up to 43m and honing her eye for details, organisation skills and fine dining service. Recent yachts include: M/Y WALANKA 38m, M/Y OCEAN PEARL 42m, M/Y LADY TRUDY 43m. Irina is fluent in English, Italian and French and is Romanian mother tongue. She likes yoga, gym, nature and art.
