Chuck Grice is a yacht broker with Worth Avenue Yachts in Chesapeake, Virginia, specializing in the sale and purchase of motor yachts, cruising yachts and trawlers throughout the Chesapeake Bay and Mid-Atlantic region. With more than 45 years in yacht brokerage, he brings extensive market knowledge and long-standing relationships to buyers and sellers.

Chuck grew up boating on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. His parents gave him his first boat at age five, an eight-foot dinghy powered by a 3.5-horsepower Johnson Sea Horse engine. He spent his early years exploring the 12-mile Magothy River, beginning a lifelong connection to boating and the Chesapeake Bay.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Villanova University, Chuck entered the marine industry in 1981. He served as sales manager for a Viking Yacht dealership in Annapolis, Maryland, and later for a Viking-Hatteras dealership in Hampton, Virginia. In 1989, he founded Virginia Yacht Brokers, which he operated for more than 30 years before joining Worth Avenue Yachts.

Throughout his career, Chuck has represented buyers and sellers across a wide range of yacht types and builders. Recent Worth Avenue Yachts transaction records credit him individually or jointly with 11 completed sales ranging from 29 to 53 feet. These include yachts built by Grand Banks, Hatteras, Tollycraft, American Tug, Ranger Tug, Legacy and Maine Cat. His experience is particularly valuable to clients seeking cruising yachts and trawlers suited to the Chesapeake Bay, the Intracoastal Waterway and extended coastal cruising.

Based at Worth Avenue Yachts’ office at Atlantic Yacht Basin in Chesapeake, Chuck supports clients throughout Virginia, Maryland and the greater Mid-Atlantic. He is known for his honesty, practical advice and personal service, qualities that have resulted in repeat business, referrals and client relationships spanning generations.

Chuck lives in Virginia Beach with his wife, Kelsey, and their Golden Retriever, Summer Divine. Their daughter, McKenzie, is an orthopedic surgical physician assistant in Williamsburg, Virginia. Their son, Parker, joined the family business in 2015 and now works alongside Chuck at Worth Avenue Yachts.
