Oliver Cross is a yacht charter and sales broker with Worth Avenue Yachts in South Florida. With more than a decade of experience in the maritime industry, he arranges private yacht charters worldwide and advises clients on yacht purchases and ownership. His approach is personal and practical: he listens to how clients want to travel or use a yacht, then offers clear guidance to help them find the right fit.
Charter is central to Oliver’s work. With access to the global charter market, he matches clients with motor and sailing yachts, crews, and itineraries suited to each group or family. He especially enjoys planning journeys beyond the usual routes. Oliver also arranges event charters, including for Cannes Lions, the Monaco Grand Prix, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where he has maintained a fleet presence year after year.
Oliver’s perspective is grounded in firsthand experience aboard superyachts. After earning a degree in Business Marketing, he worked on some of the world’s best-known yachts, including ECLIPSE, DILBAR, and TURQUOISE, as well as busy charter yachts in the 35- to 60-meter range. He saw how onboard service and operations come together, and learned what guests value and what owners should consider when placing a yacht in charter. He later worked in yacht brokerage in London.
For clients considering yacht ownership, Oliver starts with how they plan to use the yacht: who will be on board, where they want to cruise, and how often. He helps buyers assess operating costs, crew, maintenance, depreciation, resale value, and potential charter use, so they can make an informed decision and plan for ownership over time. He also advises clients when a yacht may not be the right match.
Having spent summers in the South of France, Oliver brings personal familiarity with the Mediterranean, as well as experience planning charters in the Caribbean and other destinations worldwide. He is known for being responsive, detail-oriented, and straightforward, staying closely involved from the first conversation through the final arrangements.
