Born in New York, Veronica Pizza has been living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida since the 1970’s. While living in Florida she found herself immersed in the boating world, cruising the waterways, fishing and waterskiing with friends. Her career in yachting began in 1987 working for Lloyd’s Ships, an Australian shipbuilder with offices in Fort Lauderdale. Her experience later took her to several other shipbuilders such as Norship (a Norwegian shipbuilder), Broward Marine (a US builder) and Cheoy Lee Shipyards (a Chinese builder).
A yacht broker since 1998, she has applied her knowledge and experience in all facets of her career, which has been a tremendous asset to her clients. She has been “Featured Broker” twice in international yachting publications. In 2004 she opened her own yacht brokerage company, which she ran for 12 years. Today, she brings 30 years of experience with combined knowledge of yacht brokerage and new construction to the Worth Avenue team. You can talk with her each year at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
Veronica prides herself on attention to detail, maintaining good communication, strong negotiating skills and finding the ideal yacht for her clients. Passionate about animals, she currently has two Shih Tzus and was a previous horse owner.
