Allseas Yachts
Allseas Yachts traces its lineage to the North Pacific fishing fleet. Founder Tim Alls built more than forty yachts and commercial vessels before turning to explorers. Many of those boats worked the Bering Sea and the Alaskan crab grounds. Because of that history, the yard builds to commercial standards first. Then it finishes to yacht standards.
Rather than chase a broad model range, Allseas Yachts concentrated on a single 92-foot platform. So far, roughly eight hulls have been delivered. The steel semi-displacement hull exceeds ABS commercial standards. In addition, heavy plating, a substantial keel, and low amidships fuel tankage all add stability. Together with an unusually wide beam, this keeps the yacht steady without relying on stabilizers for safety. Stabilizers are still fitted, however, purely for comfort underway.
An Allseas Yachts 92 carries roughly 7,000 gallons of fuel. As a result, range runs to approximately 5,000 nautical miles at cruising speed. That gives her genuine transatlantic and transpacific reach. Owners have run these yachts along both United States coastlines and through the Panama Canal. Furthermore, the platform suits high latitude cruising. Deep water ground tackle, borrowed from commercial practice, extends anchoring well beyond typical yacht limits.
The interiors are joinery-driven rather than trend-driven. African ribbon mahogany, Brazilian cherry flooring, Carrara marble, and granite appear throughout. Meanwhile, the cabinetry comes from some of the finest craftsmen in the Pacific Northwest. Layouts favor liveaboard practicality. Above all, full galleys and generous social spaces support extended time aboard for family and crew alike.
