A History Driven by Purpose
Founded in 1998 by Wylie Nagler, Yellowfin began with the goal of building a fast, top-tier fishing boat that didn't sacrifice functionality. Choosing form from function, the inaugural 31-foot center-console debuted in 2000, laying the foundation for Yellowfin’s reputation in performance fishing.
Designed for Serious Offshore Use
Yellowfin boats are engineered from the ground up with fishability in mind—features include ergonomically designed live-bait wells, raised decks for water shedding, and transom curves optimized for landing fish. Their distinctive sheerline delivers both beauty and a drier ride in rough conditions.
Industry Recognition and Ownership
In 2021, Yellowfin was acquired by Warbird Marine Holdings (under EagleTree Capital), joining Invincible while retaining its brand spirit and leadership. The move ensures stronger investment in product development, production capacity, and customer experience—all while preserving Yellowfin’s craftsmanship DNA.
Engineering and Build Quality
Yellowfin employs advanced composite construction for strength and lightness, allowing for high performance and reliability. Their fleet ranges from compact 17-foot skiffs to powerful 42-foot offshore models reaching up to 70 mph, including specialized builds like militarized 34-foot boats.
