The Bahamas Charter Yacht Show 2024, occurred in Nassau from January 25-28, 2024, it presented an exclusive event for charter brokers. Organized by the Association of Bahamas Marinas in collaboration with IYBA and The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation, it was hosted across five prominent Nassau and Paradise Island marinas: Atlantis, Bay Street Marina, Nassau Cruise Port, The Pointe Marina, and Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina.
This broker-only event offered a unique opportunity to engage with representatives from various marinas and explore a stunning lineup of charter yachts. Featured vessels included VALHALLA, GRAND ILLUSION, MISS STEPHANIE, LADY H, BELLA TU, ROYAL RITA and AMMONITE, among others.
After settling in and reconnecting with fellow industry professionals the time had come to kick off the show!
LADY H hosted a delightful luncheon, during which Chef Domonique Van Der West and Chief Stewardess Amanda Jordaan showcased their exquisite culinary and mixology skills.
We extend our gratitude to Captain Scott Duncan for his warm hospitality and for providing fellow industry professionals the opportunity to immerse themselves in this exceptional crew and yachting experience.
After a long day of exploring the yachts, we continued the networking into the night by enjoying our evening at the John Watlings Distillery.
Day 2 commenced bright and early as the Worth Avenue Yachts team embarked on a full day of exploring yachts across various marinas.
VALHALLA hosted a delightful luncheon on this day. Captain Dan Corcoran warmly welcomed us aboard, guiding us to the main outdoor dining area. Chef Kirsten Blake presented her exquisite menu, and Chief Stewardess Carla Vangeli treated us to delightful Aperol cocktails.
Following a day of yacht exploration and a beautiful lunch, The Bahamas Charter Show organized an evening event at the Royal Deck at Atlantis Paradise Island, featuring a special performance by the Bahamas’ very own Junkanoo. It was an incredible opportunity to network and immerse ourselves in the vibrant culture of the beloved Bahamas.
It was yet another breathtaking day in the Bahamas, spent perusing the wonderful yachts on display.
Day 3 held a special significance. The board of the Bahamas Charter Show visited all the yachts participating in two competitions. The first was a mixology competition featuring Pink Sands Spirits Co. to determine the best cocktail. The second was a tablescape competition, with a special shoutout to GRAND ILLUSION for presenting an unforgettable tablescape. This crew is brimming with talent and has the ability to curate an unforgettable experience.
The Bahamas Charter show ended with an event at the Nassau Cruise Port with a live DJ, catering, and an open bar for everyone!
