Newport brokerage show: The largest Collection of Boats North of Florida
The Newport Brokerage Boat Show has finally arrived, with the largest in-water collection of high-quality brokerage yachts north of South Florida. This year’s show will showcase over 100 yachts anywhere from 40′ to 140′. With such a wide range, one is sure to find their ideal yacht at this incredible boat show. The first yacht for sale that is available for viewing is JESSICA, a 66’ Vicem yacht. JESSICA was conceived by a yachtsman that has built numerous well-pedigreed yachts. The attention to detail is evident throughout this lovely yacht with this Vicem being impeccably maintained throughout. When JESSICA debuted three years ago, she was so well received that she won the “People’s Choice Award” at the Newport Boat Show. This yacht for sale can sleep 6 in 3 staterooms.
Next is MJM yacht WAVE DANCER, which is not your standard MJM 50z. This stunning MJM 50z built at Boston Boatworks is perhaps the most fully optioned of her kind. With a length of 55’, she features a double private cabin layout, a great room/galley combination amazing for entertaining, and an additional convertible sleeping space. Her three Volvo IPS 600 diesel inboard engines provide incredible performance, both quietly and efficiently with a cruising speed of 33 kn and a max of 39 kn.
Following WAVE DANCER is motor yacht LINDA MARIE, an Alden 49 that is the most powerful and fastest ever built. She’s highly optioned with all the right gear, has fully updated navigational electronics, and sits ready to go with all services up to date. 2 beautifully appointed staterooms, each with their own head and stall shower, allow for 4 guests to sleep comfortably. The entire interior is cloaked in flawless American Cherry which affords a feeling of informal elegance throughout the yacht. The flybridge comfortably accommodates 4 while the large cockpit, with a centerline stern door, can easily accommodate larger groups. LINDA MARIE provides for a fast dry ride to the most decerning buyer.
Last but certainly not least is FOG DOG, a Talaria 40 built by renowned yard Hinckley. FOG DOG is arguably the most versatile Hinckley Talaria 40’s on the water. She is an ultra-refined Downeast-style boat that would be as comfortable entertaining family and friends as it would be fishing offshore. In 2012, with the help Volvo Penta engineering, and Hank Hinckley, this T40 replaced the standard jet propulsion system with the latest and greatest Volvo IPS drive propulsion system. The result is a first-of-her-kind transformation that tracks better, turns better, and has a more efficient midrange cruise than her jet-powered counterparts. She can also dynamically position herself (GPS Lat/Long) in one spot at the push of a button, a feature not only handy around the docks, but also while waiting for bridges, or watching an up-wind mark rounding during a sailing race. The further addition of outriggers (removable), rod holders, a baitwell, and a slightly modified cockpit allows for a level of refined fishability not found in many boats.
