Originally from Colorado, Joaquin quickly realized that the chilly Rocky Mountains weren’t for him. In 1999, he made the move to Florida—and found his true element by the sea. It was there that his yachting journey began, and over 25 years later, he’s still passionate about the industry, with 15 of those years spent as a licensed captain. Joaquin has navigated extensively throughout the Bahamian islands, the Caribbean, the U.S. East Coast, and the scenic shores of New England. Known for his calm demeanor and wealth of knowledge, Joaquin and his experienced crew are dedicated to going above and beyond, ensuring that each moment on board becomes a cherished memory. When he’s not at sea, you’ll find Joaquin diving, hiking, or out on the golf course. He’s also an avid reader, always chasing new stories—whether through real-life experiences or the pages of a good book.
