Leonce Richard — Luxury Yacht Broker, Worth Avenue Yachts

Leonce began boating in the early 1970s on the Tennessee River on an aluminum 37′ Chris Craft Roamer Riviera. Soon after, he began fishing and sailing with family and friends off the coast of Orange Beach, Alabama. The 80s and much of the 90s were spent racing yachts nationally and working with a marine maintenance company in the New Orleans and Gulf Coast area. That led to a return to Orange Beach to start a marine maintenance business and, shortly after, Marlin Marine Electronics, which outfitted many of the new Cabo and Tiara product in the area as well as many other brands.

Yacht brokerage followed, and Leonce has been a luxury yacht broker for over 23 years, representing used vessels as well as new yachts from Jarrett Bay, Hatteras, Viking, Princess, Cabo, Albemarle, Tiara, Maritimo, Grand Banks, Sabre, Horizon and Ocean Alexander among others. His knowledge from working on countless brands and types of boats with his own hands has given him a unique ability to advise clients beyond what many see.
